New game format: Ladder (Beta)

We are happy to introduce a brand new game format in Ligaspel – Ladder!

What is Ladder?

In a ladder, all participants are positioned in a ranking list. You can challenge players or teams above you, and if you win, you take their place. If you lose, you stay where you are. Positions are updated automatically without gaps.

Rules (in the first version)

• You can challenge a player/team up to 5 positions above you.

• You can only have one active challenge at a time, and at the same time only be challenged once.

• A challenge is automatically withdrawn if it is not scheduled within 5 days.

• If you win, you take your opponent’s place and everyone in between moves down.

• If you lose, positions remain unchanged.

• Results can only be deleted if they are the latest for both participants, and within 7 days.

Administrator

The administrator positions the participants in the ladder, but after that there is no need to manage challenges manually – players handle challenges, book matches, and report results themselves.

Beta status

The game format is still under development and may be missing features or behave unexpectedly. We really appreciate if you share your ideas and suggestions for improvements.
